Blackberry Pearl/ 2004 e60
#1
Anyone know if it's possible to pair a Blackberry Pearl with a bluetooth-enabled 2004 545i?
BMW's website says the BB pearl is only supported in models built after March 2005, and the only phones "approved" for 2004 models are RAZR, SLVR, and blackberry 8700, which all suck.
Anyone know a way around this, or is it just not possible?
Thanks

Have you tried it yet? As far as I know, if the car has BT enabled, then the BlackBerry Pearl should work. (I don't recall hearing any differences between bluetooth enabled 2004 cars and newer ones. )
I used an 8700c in my 3/2004 build car and I tested a Pearl with it as well. Both worked beautifully. The 8700c still works perfectly in my new 6/2007 build car.
