I have a e60 m5 and a blackberry curve.

When i take or make calls, i hear the other person crystal clear HOWEVER they cannot hear me well at all. Sounds like i'm underwater and its very muffled.

I've done a hardreset on my phone (taking out battery) and disconnected and re-paired the phone to the car.

Still sounds muffled..........I took the car to my SA at BMW and we tried his phone. His phone (motorola) works and sounds perfect in my car.

Is it my phone????????

I have had my BB curve 8330 for the past 5 weeks now. OS is 4.3. No complaints or issues with muffled calls here...

It's gotta be your phone. I had the BB curve for a while and it was amazing, I could hear and ppl could hear me perfectly!

You could go to your dealer, or if you have a friend with an E60 to test out how it sounds connected to their car! Or if someone you know has a BB Curve let them connect to your car and see how theirs works! I would definately say it sounds like your phone may be a doozy! Especially since your SA's Motorola worked fine.. but I'd test it out once more to be sure before you spend another 4 bills on a Curve.. but once again when I had mine it was crustal clear both ways! Good luck!

The BlackBerry curve was the only RIM device that had so-so sound quality my in tests.

Although some have reported excellent sound quality, there have been more than a few reports of so-so sound as well.

Wow, this thread is old... oh well. My wife has a BB Curve and I have a BB Pearl. I constantly have issues with her connection when we talk (all the time) via BT while I'm in my 2005 E60 (530). All other calls are exceptional. Her BB Curve calls flip in and out of "underwater" sound to normal sounding. What a p.i.t.a.! Is there a fix?
