I know that lots of people have got the v710 to work "flawlessly" in the car with Superdave's flash. I got one yesterday and it is unacceptable. The v551 that I trialed was far superior.
It pairs fine, transfers phone book but the quality is terrible. I am going to flash it back to Verizon and return it. I just don't know if I should try a new one or just go to the Razr or treo 650.
Anyone else with same experience. I am suspecting the phone since I have had some problems with just using the phone and people not being able to understand me...

I used the v710 to call my daughter today--600 miles apart--and she did not know I was using the BT until I told her. She indicated voice quality was excellent. I have no complaints at all on the v710 with SD flash.

Problem.....I just falshed my V710 and it will now stay connected but the sound is really bad. The other party can hear me fine but the ringing sound when calling sounds really strange and the sound quality through my car is terrible. Is there anything I need to do other than flash the phone?
