Early termination fee for cancelling your contract before its expiration is close to 400 dollars

Based on the experience with the 3GS, whats the likely time frame before we see a cradle for the iphone 4?

I believe sometime early this month, AT&T increased the ETF to $325 from 175. Before they increased the fee, each month AT&T reduced the early termination fee by $5 every month. So when I switched to t mobile in favor of nexus one I only had to pay $90 in fee. I don't know now how much they'll knock off every month now since the fee is almost doubled.

$300-$400 for 4g doesn't sound bad to me maybe I'm missing something though?
I'm not 100% sure but I believe if you cancel your contract within a time frame that AT&T sets, you'll have to pay the discount you received on the phone. I think it's like 120days or 180days I'm not too sure. Also, even when you break out the contract, new early termination fee is $325 plus $199 you paid for the phone plus YOUR IPHONE 4 still locked to AT&T. Although you can jailbreak or ask AT&T for the unlock code I don't see any benefit of it. You might just wanna pay %599 for full unlocked version.

I noticed the dimensions are marginally smaller, does anyone know if it'll fit in the BMW iPhone dock ok?
