Another Bluetooth question

With an incoming call, the radio mutes, but there is no ring through the car's speakers (although the phone itself rings). It's kind of weird - all of a sudden the radio mutes and I look down and there's a call showing on the iDrive screen. Is there a way to have the phone ring through the speakers?
Also, is there a way to have a private conversation using the phone itself rahter than always sending calls thru the speakers?

Your ringing problem maybe related to your phone settings. Do you have it set to Vibrate or to silent. if not then when you say "call showing through I-drive"
do you mean an active call? If so then your phone is set to auto answer on handsfree. look through the handsfree or car settings and make sute it is not set to auto answer. Then you will hear you phone ring and I-drive will show you the incoming call with the option to accept or reject. You can accept using the phone button on the steering wheel.

[/quote]Thanks. I understand what needs to be done for a private call and the shortcut may be a pretty easy solution.
On the second issue, my phone is set to ring (not to silent or vibrate) and iDrive does ask to me accept or reject the call - but I know to look down to accept or reject because the radio has muted, not because I've heard a ring. Strange . . .
