My Palm Centro phone pairs just fine, but not the phone book. The instructions from BMW say to turn the car off after pairing, then turn the car back on and the phone book will download into the car, and the phone book is supposed to update every time you start the car. The phone book never downloads. Any solutions?? Email me: dsternberg@sternbergbenjamin.com

Just delete your device and pair the phone again.

not familiar with the Centro, but make sure you're on the latest firmware (or OS version, whatever Palm calls it) and check the bluetooth preferences on the centro and/or the address book (or contacts, whatever the centro calls them) to make sure everything is set right. you might have to set the phone to transfer the phonebook to the car, or allow that under the bluetooth device preferences, something like that.

Thanks again. I will try that. I did not even think about adjusting the phone.

It's been a while since I've used a CDMA phone but I recall Verizon blocking some BT transfers at one point. This included blocking the phonebook transfer from the phone to the car.
