2/205 545i/cradle/bluetooth/V600

Ok, hours and hours and hours spent on this thing. Hundreds of pages of discussion forums and tech bulletins. This thing WILL NOT connect!
I tried pairing the phone before I had the cradle installed, no luck.
I had the cradle installed this week, still no luck.
I tried pairing the phone to my computer just to make sure it was not my phone, no problem, sweet and easy.
I do have "bluetooth communication active" checked.
I go to "bluetooth connectable in this menu" and have tried dozens of times. Nothing happens.
I do know how to make my phone discoverable, I did it no problem this morning on my computer.
I'm ready to take a sledgehammer to the car.
Someone please help.

Look at this thread. It contains in addition to instructions pdfs which explain each step.
Make sure you are follow the instuctions step by step and in the right order.
