Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum, and new to BMW as well as I have replaced my Audi with a 2006 BMW 530i last week!

My two mobiles : i-mate JAM and SE P900 did not work smoothly with the BT (frequent disconnection, no transfer of phone book, etc) and I am planning to buy a new phone to use it SMOOTHLY with the car.

As I have no experience at all with E60, I would appreciate your recommendation on which type of phone better suits this car.

I am thinking of SE K750i, SE 630i, or the W800i (if it works)..

Is there any smotthly working small PDA/phone??

Thanks

iQi

of the three phones you mention the K750i works flawlessly with the E60. It's the phone I have and I'm very impressed with it.

I use the SE T610. Works perfectly! No trouble in use, took about 30 sec to transfer the phonebook with about 100 names.

No question from my side it has to be NOKIA 6230i - works flawlessly in all circumstances!

Thank you guys!

my530i,
I've updated my sig. Thanks for the tip

I am a SE fan, so it seems that K750i is the way to go.

Does anyone know if the W800i is fully compatible with the car or not?

Thanks

seeing as it is very similar to the K750i ie. the firmware from the W800i can be loaded up into the K750i, there is a very high probability that it will work just as well IMHO
