Don did my Alpine White E60 last Thursday and I have to say that I am very pleased with the results... even my wife likes it a lot, now I can't get her out of my car! Don and his friend John did a great job and it is much more time consuming than you would think due to all of the angles and individually doing each roof rail. I opted to not wrap the shark fin, and for now I like the contrast. I am on my way out of town to Laguna Beach for the week so I'll post up some pix when we get back.
I would definitely recomend Don's services if you happen to live in the area.

cool! Can you please post some close up pics of the roof rails
and where the vinyl meets the front windshield.
Also close up pics around the shark fin.
I'm hoping this will help me decide between vinyl wrapping or just getting it painted.
Thanks Billy!

I wanna do my car in all satin black

If I buy a piece to do my roof, how do I do it around the sharkfin and the sunroof?
I was thinking about that too.

My M would looks SICK wrapped in Flat Black. (But 2-3k is a lot of cheddar for vinyl wrap.)

I will download some pix tonight and post them up. Just in case you can't see the detail, Don tucks the vinyl under the front windsheild rubber, removes the roof rails and wraps the vinyl into the rail area, wraps each rail individually and reinstalls the rails so there is not a cheesy white line or gap. I did not want to remove the shark fin so I had Don work around it. It takes more time, but the final product turned out good. Keep in mind that this stuff is a cross between window tint and tail light tint from an application standpoint. It is applied in a large sheet with a solution to make it adhere to the roof without damaging the paint. It does take a few days for the wrap to completely adhere and there could be a few small air pockets that need to be punctured with a pin and the air pushed out. Don offered to take care of any of these issues if I had any, but I just took care of them myself and they sealed up perfect. I would say after about three days of your car being in the sun, you will have your finished product.

The pix that Don posted with the AW E60 are mine so you can see what I mean as far as the contrasting shark fin. I think it goes with the theme of my car and that is all that matters since you can't please everyone. Some will like it and some won't, that's just the way it goes.

I hope this helps any of you on the fence about wrapping your E60. Good Luck!

Received my vinyl today.

Had a few shipping complications along the way but Don kept me updated along the whole way.

Was packaged extremely well.

I only have good words to say about Don, excellent customer service and always answered my PM's however mundane they were

Will upload pics of it installed in early September I hope.
