Looks good, how did you remove then antenna fin on the E60, hopefuuly I wil be ordering the matte vinyl from you this week

+1 on how to remove the antenna/shark fin
and also, I'm really curious as to why the e60 roof is so complicated

that's my E60....we just heated it with a heat gun and pried it with a tool. Just be careful not to rush like i did other wise you may dent the top of the roof slightly. The rubber adhesive that holds it is very strong so you have to take your time.

sounds like a lot of trouble. and not to mention possibly denting the roof, def not worth it.

I am sure with more heat and if you used a fishing line, the shark fin can come off without any problems.

I did an E60's roof yesterday, and the owner opted for me to work around the shark fin, so that's what I did. Both ways are possible. Removing the shark fin just makes it a lot easier to lay down the vinyl.
