Removing the antenna just requires you to use some dental floss or fishing wire, to get the front half off, then pull back the cover and use a blade to slowly cut the rest of the material holding it on the car.
Removing the antenna cover on an E60 is no easy task. Probably takes about 15-30 mins of carefully working on it to get it off.
