At this time, Seibon isn't interested in making one with US-spec plates. I haven't spoken to VIS yet. I will shoot them an email and see what they think.

As for my R&D team, we would be interested in making one if we can fund a portion of the project. As I am the person responsible for this, right now, most of this money has been put towards the exhaust and, upon completion, the header. If I can sell a couple of these bad boys, I can fund the research with the profits

Updated the offering page per LINK to include more Seibon products. Seibon now has front/rear lips and side skirts for the M5.

Will work on finishing up VIS and have it ready in a day or so. So keep an eye out for that. Thanks!

Yeah, I hear you guys. I've sold two of these trunk lids so far in the last 3 months. Both were to international buyers - Bahrain and Dubai. It's a shame neither company has one compatible with the US-spec plates. It is definitely something I will look into doing for my next project. But for the time being, I need to finalize the header/exhaust project. Perhaps sell a few to recoup R&D cost before I do something else.

great lookin' CF items.

a small contribution to our community is appreciated as well, especially from a vendor.

Absolutely. I plan to donate a small portion of the profit on a per-sale basis.

The hood comes with pre-drilled holes and bolts to mount onto the hinge. It will require transferring over the latch from the stock hood. I am in the Los Angeles area and have at least one place I can refer you to to do the install. However, I am not familiar with any place in the NY area.
