Hi - I listed this issue in the initial post (between the photos and prices):

Note
Compatible with Euro-spec plates
Will require minor modification to fit US-spec plates (shaving about 1" off the top or bottom)

Here are some photos showing the US-spec plates on the CSL mold.

Seibon may not make it. But my engineer (the one designing my exhaust/headers) is also a carbon fiber specialist and may be interested in taking on this project if there is enough demand. To do this, we would need committed buyers (prepayment). I'll talk to him about it right now to see what kind of numbers we can do and then provide it to you guys.

Looks like a nice piece..but its illegal to "cut "or "modify" your licesnse plate in CA

And how many of us are guilty of running around without a front license plate or tint on our front windshield/driver/front passenger side?

i'm so interested in the CSL trunk, just not willing to buy it unless there is a US Spec

looks ghetto even with a modded license plate. just looks like it doesnt belong. seriously they need to do this, so many people would be ordering right now if it was us spec
