Just a word of caution, guys. A 275 width tire (and even a 285) doesn't look the greatest on a 10.5" rim. Guys on the M5Board don't even recommend a 285 for this width...too stretched. A 10.5" width is more appropriate for a 305 tire on an M5.
No offense to NigxDoof's rims (I love them!), but I think you can see what happens on the rears as a result of a 275 tire. See how much rear rim is exposed compared to the tire sidewall? You can't even see the tire sitting on the road.
You are looking at serious potential for curb rash on 275's which are stretched too far on a such a wide, 10.5" rim.
In fact, Nigxdoof's post from yesterday: "I'm selling my rear tires cause I'm going wider." 285's are better...305's are best, but won't fit most E60's.

I don't like the stretched look either. I prefer to have the tire and wheel lip flush. I agree with DrLev99 on this one, 305 will probably be the best fit, but will most likely not fit without severe rubbing issues on a non-M E60's.

ahh.. the rim is 20x10.. not 20x 10.5..
So 285 or 295 is probably better, but I think 295 won't fit.
So a 20x10 rim for 285 is my best bet..
Is that right?

285/25/20 is the correct rolling diameter for 20x10 and it will give you the same diameter as a stock wheel. 275/30/20 is a larger rolling diameter than stock, so going 285/30/20 is even bigger. While giving the lip of your wheel more protection, it will most likely rub without negative camber beyond BMW specifications. Even with fender rolling.
