Again, WOW! I'm impressed. I'm still a little skeptical because my Radenergie R10s are also forged aluminum and I think they're around 30lbs. Can you confirm the weights again once you have a set in house? I never thought I would trade in my R10s but if these wheels are really this light, it's a definite possibility.

Sorry, but you gotta get in the queue. Others have already staked claim to ECF's R10. I'm not one of them.

So I posted about these wheels on M5Board and one of the guys found several threads on them from other forums where other members had some really bad experiences where the wheels cracked and stuff. Here are some of the links:

Or course, these could be isolated cases and it looks like the wheels involved were the one-piece versions. The Forged series may be a lot better quality but I just thought I would let other members be aware.

Wow.. I'd heard a few horror stories. Personally, regardless if they were one piece or forged I'd stay completely away from the Sevas. Why take a chance?

PE07- 048 SEVAS S-10 AFTERMARKET WHEELS WHEEL FAILURE 21-SEP-2007

While that may pertain to a particular model of wheel, would you trust your family's safety?

Not going to start a war, but any 1 pc. cast wheel on a low profile tire hitting a pothole will cause severe damage. I've rear plenty of things online about HRE being banned from track events as well as factory wheels cracking when hitting a pothole.

Enjoy!

Understood.

I just referred your email to a member on M5Board to send you a request on pricing.

Have you gotten a chance to confirm the wheel weights?
