I thought I heard that with the use of hella cables 2 or Bruce Cables will evenly disperse the light...true?

I believe there are only 2 members here who have the aftermarket LED with Bruce's modified version...supposed to be a bit cheaper but not sure if it is being made anymore.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I am currently working with two members here, for Bruce cable and Hella cable difference.

For hella cables, the picture above is correct. That picture is from my ebay
Two bulbs are still on without hitting brake. When you hit brake, bubls become brighter.

For Bruce cables, it has clear rod image without lightening those two bubls.
Rod is much brighter than original LCI LED tail lights are supposed to be.

One good thing is no defect report for Hella cable, yet.
(Of course, Bruce takes care of defect problem for his cable whenever it happens.)

I will contact Hella, and post the answer from.

Can anyone confirm this? I have had mine next to a LCI, and the brightness is the same. Tim's LCI that I did the brake effect on, his and mine appeared to be lit the same.

And for the SoCal members that would like to do the Ricky Brake effect from me, I do believe it is possible with the Hella cables and make the effect the exact same way, as the mod is actually done to the board itself.

Sorry to pose another question, but clarity is key here

The hella cables make it so the two halogen brake bulbs are on at all times, just dim lit

whereas the bruce miranda cables make it so only the LED bars and inner pod is on?

Correct, just like pre-LCI. The inner bulb is also lit.

Correct. The LCI rear light cluster has bulbs in the same places as pre-LCI (outer, middle, inner), but a light diffuser is placed in front of the each bulb so it looks like a pod.
