My Ride: Metallic gray '05 545i Sport Black Leather with HUD, Step, Nav, PDC, CWP, K&N Air Filter, Black RPI scoop, Black painted calipers, 35% F1 Pinnacle tint, 19" RDSport RS-2F rims with Continental ExtremeContact DWs.
Me too! $310+ for even such a cool accessory is too much. I can get a SB for that and it actually makes the car perform better. Maybe a group buy could get the price down in the low-mid $200 range and more people might bite. This isn't exactly the best of times.

I'm confused about the price -- when I hit the link given above, it took me to page that quoted the kit being $75 and it mentioned that it would normally cost $370 from BMW
So what is the price of this kit?

Yes, their M5 "Style" SMG shifter is $235 USD, the harness is $75 USD.
