Yeah, and the point that Weezy is trying to make? I guess I'm a little dense this morning.
The M5 bumper keeps the OE kidney grills and the E60 bumper has replacements.

You mean the lower front grill the one under the bumper?

take a look at the hamann front apron for the M5, and compare it to the hamann front apron for any other 5 series. pay close attention to the kidney grills. the one for the 5series is a whole bumper that replaces the kidney grills with mesh. the one for the M5 gets to keep the original kidney grills. i hope it makes enough sense.

VT, I see where you're confused. The pictures above actually don't have the full Hamann bumper for the M5; only the add-on splitter. Maybe Bavarianx can post one of an M5 with the full Hamann front bumper.

No, we're talking about the kidney grills. The full Hamann bumper for the M5 keeps the stock kidney grills whereas the full Hamann bumper for a regular E60 does no longer has the stock grill. The kidneys have a screen mesh instead; as you can see in the picture I posted.

Yeah, that's why I was confused because I didn't see any Hamann front aprons. Just OE M5 bumpers.
