I think the Hamann picture that you posted IS a real quad......It has a pipe coming out of the left muffler into a mini right muffler that is standing up on edge in order to fit between the battery and spare tire compartment. I think all of the Hamann quads can be considered "real" quads because the right side also has a working muffler (not just a fake pipe like the othes). Yes, I know that the right muffler is not the same size as the left one, and it's feed is coming from the left muffler instead of directly coming from half of the cylinders, however, the right side is still a working exhaust muffler/pipe and not just a fake pipe.
YES this is what I always said, just nobody trusted me, thx anyway.I always stressed there is nothing fake under the hood of HAMANN

Is the Hamann quad for a V8 engine running 2 separate pipes after the last resonator (like RD) - or is it the exhaust system in the picture above that applies ?

Dear friends no need to get confused all the exhausts are 76 mm diam many have it some already ordered and happy with it,
so ok last time I confirm what you see of our friend 530i_msport that is REAL two mufflers, each mufflers has a separate pipe, 1 right side 1 left side = working 4 pipes = quad exhausts.
I always said it is, just you do not believe me
all can order and for all engines, as I said for 535d there is a different setup and exhaust
for M5 full system and heads but no groupbuy sales yet.

I did love Acs but what i have now... Hamann is 100 times more quality!
