The road is long and boring. There is little to no interesting scenery. Every time, I did it in one shot, just stopping for gas/food/bathroom. Now, at age 38, I think I'd stop overnight somewhere. Come to think of it, I'd rather fly it. Take me out to the mountain states or Cali or the Pacific Northwest -- where the nature scenery is much more beautiful -- and then I would be happy to drive such a distance.
