if it is acrylic fabric which i think it is,
Acrylic fabric can breathe better than vinyl and withstand higher amount of sunlight and lower temperatures when compared to vinyl.

Okay guys, here's the deal... After I saw Macfly's new CF wrapped interior, I had to have it! But I just couldn't cost justify the $750.00 its was going to cost. So I started looking around, and I found a guy and negotiated a SMOKIN HOT deal to for you guys! (You're welcome in advance!!
)
)The Carbon Leather for some of the M-cars is only a $500 option.

Forgive me for being naive on the subject. So, what does this mean? What is the difference between the two? Is one better? Why?

~Water resistant and stain resistant (regular fabric is NOT water resistant and stain repellent because it will absorb all liquids, vinyl will NOT)
~Over 400 hours of direct sunlight at 90 degrees.
~100,000 Double Rubs (meaning rubbing against the body getting in and out of the car if material is applied to seats). Does NOT apply to our application because it is only on the trim parts and will NEVER be rubbed. So basically the parts just sit there with out rubbing.
~Vinyl Material passes #302 and #211 vertical California Fire Code Bulletins. (Minimum requirement for California fire proofing) Fabric has a much faster fire burning rate.
~Our vinyl conforms with all mildew regulations and is treated with special chemicals to prevent mildew when vehicles is left unattended for many years. The rear has a nylon polyester backing to prevent this from happening. (Cloth like Fabric will collect more dust and prone to mildew faster)

okay... Major updates, guys! I'm only doing this now as a favor to my installer who already purchased the material for this deal. All details are as follows:
1. New reduced price is $315 shipped! yes that's right there's no typo here. I am taking out the $50 of profit/commission that I had in the original price and my installer has reduced his labor costs. But, this pricing is a one shot deal.. I, personally, will never do a group buy again. I only started this thread to help our fellow members find better priced alternative than what was being offered before. ( If you missed the earlier drama, too bad for you!
It's not worth regurgitating.)This is not a business for me, and I am not doing this to ruin anybody else's business or lowball anyone's thread. The ONLY reason the price is being lowered is that my installer is just trying to cut his losses.
2. No more group buy required. The pricing on this thread will expire once the material in stock is gone.
3. Quick Silver is not available at this price because this material is not in stock.
4. Black CF is available(this is what is installed in my car) looks very similar to the OEM leather CF option on the new M-cars.
5. Overdrive Charcoal CF is available (this is the color that's installed on MacFly's car)
6. This material IS VINYL! The feel and texture is the same as on MacFly's car.(sorry to keep using your name, John, but you're the only reference point I have to the other material being sold.) I am not saying they are the same material, but I am saying that they feel and look the same to me.
7. Full 3 year warranty INCLUDED against peeling, cracking, fading, and workmanship. This material is automotive grade and so durable that it can even be used for seating areas. If you're unhappy with any of the trim pieces, they will be re-wrapped. Satisfaction guaranteed!!
8. The workmanship is excellent! My installer has been doing upholstery for over 10 years, and his family's business has been doing a lot of the warranty work for many of the car dealerships in their area.
9. THE MATERIAL IS AVAILABLE NOW, which means there's no wait!!!
10. If you're in SoCal, you can go directly to my installers shop and have the trim pieces removed wrapped and re-installed all in one day. (For additional charge).
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. If you are local, and would like to see the work done on my car, I'd be happy to show it to you.
Once again, I'm not doing this to ruin anyone's profit margin. I'm just trying to help out my installer because he hooked up my car and he already purchased the material for this GB. Our loss is your gain fellas..!!
Happy modding guys!
