Does the fake "carbon fiber" not strike anyone as rice? The concept was executed with great quality, but the idea of anything fake seems out of place on a highend car. Seems like something that belongs on some Honda fanboys ride.
The mod isn't really my taste. Seems to take the BMW in a different direction but the work is fantastic and clean. Well done.

Yep, it is 100% aesthetic. Just like the wheels, diffusors, roof spoilers, etc, that most people put on their cars.

That would be kind of interesting to see actually, now that you've mentioned it. The only black car I have ever wrapped anything on was a VW MkIII GTI. Obviously I don't get many black cars However, this one had an oxidized hood/roof, and wanted me to do it in matte to give him a two tone look.

Here are some pictures he took at his house (talk about a huge roof!), did his roof in cf and tinted his tail lights as well:

I'll try to get mine up soon.

Thanks.

I just picked up the last bulk of this cf material in the country, so if anyone wants/needs some, let me know!

How my material compares to your standard clear coated cf:

And here's a picture of a real cf hood that was finished in the same manner/style as the cf vinyl that I am using, just so you can see how these real pieces of cf compares to my cf material.
