Shoot me a PM for pricing on the material.

After the material has worn, of if you simply wanted to just take it off, just simply remove it and clean any slight residue/glue that might be left over. It's similar to removing a clear bra or laminx cover.

Remember, this material is high quality and designed/meant to be used for purposes like this.

Why would you wax it? Does vinyl need to be waxed?

I think a more glossy look would be better.
I was merely asking if I got wax on it (while waxing a painted portion of the car) would it then be stuck in a textured surface or is it a flat surface with an image printed on it!!

It might, but I don't know the exact answer to it. You do not wax this material though/anyways. Same concept as waxing a matte/flat black car, you just don't do it, based on its finish.

Here are the pictures of the 1 series I did. As you can tell from the pictures, I also did his mirrors and tinted his tail lights for him using some film. I may be doing an E60 this friday with the cf material as well, if any local members want to drop by and check it out.

Also, for anyone local. I highly recommend you come check out the material in person. I am usually all around OC on the move. So I would be more than glad to meet up with you and let you check out the material and chat for a bit. Plus, I know you guys would like hearing the opinions of other fellow members on the material other than mine only

Don - nice work buddy!

maybe you can come out to one of our meets to show off your work!? would be some great PR/marketing for you.

where in the OC are you located?

lastly, is the the same vinyl being used for interior trim or is it thicker?

When are your meets. Unfortunately, none of these are my cars, and the owners of the cars either live too far away from me or are usually too busy for me to have them come out to the local meets.

Easiest way is if some of you guys want to cruise by around noon this friday, I should be doing an X5's roof in matte and an E60 (member on here) roof in CF.

I live in Irvine, but all of our work is done at my friend's house in Huntington Beach, since the weather is cooler/more ideal there.

It could be used for interior trim. However, I've seen other people selling/using an actual fabric for their interiors. I don't like this, purely based on the fact that you have to scuff your stock trim pieces and use an adhesive to apply it on. The vinyl's adhesive is designed to allows the piece to be completely reversible without any problems.

You must know Serge, Mikey, and maybe Geoff (with the purple E36 M3), based on the stickers on your car

My blue E36 m3 vert was at Serge's shop for about a month, while I worked on it there. Dunno if you ever dropped by during that time.
