Patrys,

Have you got all the functions working including Voice Input?

OK I'll wait then. I was one of the first to get Voice Input retrofitted in the UK. This was before BMW started charging for the FSC. I remember getting the option (and the AUX-IN) retrofitted cheaper than the factory Voice option so was well pleased. However these are options that I always have trouble with when my car goes for a full update, I always loose the option until I remind them that I had it.

Great news Patryk,
We're getting close now. I sent you a PM this morning.

As you know, and like Bruce I'm very interested in voice control also. I'm sure once you have the codes we'll be the first to know.

Hi I'm from the uk, and im watching this mod very closely. So i have a question, if i purchase this kit from partys, and fit it to my car, will i have any issues with this if i take it to a bmw dealer??? or if any programing to be done ie can i get them from a dealer, will their systems recognise it as an original system? or would it be recognised as an added system??......

You need to put your old CCC or Radio back to the car before you take it for a software update. It takes like 20 minutes to do it...

Patryk, thanks again for your superb support, your expertise, patience and extensive correspondence! I now have the iDrive system I've always wanted. You da man!! Now all that's left is the software mods etc. Hardware install is complete as of tonight!
