Nice bro, this should work with a pre-lci non nav to upgrade to a LCI face for the middle console and nav correct. Didn't Nelson said the buttons would need to be modify to fit because the pre LCi doesn't fit?

You do not need to change the buttons to LCI if you are not installing the new iDrive controller, because you will not be installing the LCI trim that goes below the CIC trim.
Nelson put all info together in this post:

Let me know if something is unclear.

This is such a great mod. The new interface is so much improved. I better start saving for this one.

Well I like the LCI button I would just need to change the trim to the LCi and it should it?

you'll also need the mounting bracket and controller trim which holds the controller in place within the cavity of the shifter trim. Nelson and I are thinking that there may be one more piece also but we'll find out once Patryk gets us the additional hardware. I'll be sure to post pics etc once I do my install.

I actually think the two P/N that we ordered is all we need after looking closely at a 2010 550 that was in my local dealer.

This is good news Nelson. I've ordered the bracket and trim with Patryk and and still contemplating modification of my existing shifter panel vs buying a new panel. A CNC waterjet would be ideal to cut the perfect opening. I'm trying to scedule some time on a friends machine now. There is programing required etc and business comes first so I'm in the queue.

Just a quick update to Nigel, Peter, Jordy and others

The CICs and CIDs arrived yesterday
The rest of parts should arrive to my dealership in 2-3 days...
