Anyone installed the Satellite radio for the 06, 07 or 08 750Li, either OE or Aftermarket? Just wondering which route is best to go without draining the bank?

 

your car comes pre wired for sat radio so it should be fairly easy to activate it. do you have SAT option in your idrive menu.

on a side note i have sirius and it sucks, i cant find anything good to listen to & the sound quiality is horrible. what does everyone else listen to on it?

 

Actually I dont have SAT on my menu, but I do think its wire so I guess I need to check for sure. We have XM in one car and Sirius in another and neither in the 7, but XM we think has the better stations. Mainly its just that we can always find something without the commercials so a lot of surfing

 

i have the sirus in my ride it was prewired so i just went on line and activateded it. i get both xm and sirus channels. the module is in the trunck on the rear deck on the left.

 

Marquies, did your dash already shot SAT as an option or did you did that show after you activated?

Mine is pre-wired, but according to the dealer, If I dont have it, I need the module which is $495.

 

that sounds right, once the module is installed you should have the SAT option on your idrive

 

I already had the option in my iDrive screen what about getting the mobridge xm module?

 

Oh man, here we go again actually I emailed Al & Eds Autosound here in So Cal, they are a pretty reputable place so going to see what they offer and how much.
