IMHO it looks a lot better..lot smoother. THe back has more presence but it is a bit too common...still looks better... is that a piece of aluminum running from the front A pillar ro the back... that looks like an Audi feature but looks nice

My Ride: E39 525d, orient blue with beige interior. Planing on getting an E60 535d next summer when my lease on my E39 is over :)

There is no way the prices would go up like that, thats like a 25% increase for some models and even more than a 50% increase for the 760i.
Just no way!

Im suprised that there is no 735d.

Also the 745d seems abit underpowered, it has 1000cc more that the 535d yet only it creates 28bhp more.

Does the 745d have sequental turbocharging like the 535d to reduce lag?

My guess that it's dual-turbo, one per bank of cylinders... Rather than the sequential.

Nice facelift, but when is the total redesign due? Just curious.

Only difference is it has the sports steering wheel ( that was available before) and 3 more buttons on the dash.

Otherwise it is identical to pre-facelift

Actually the 745d is a 4.4 V8.

Yep and a V8 is better then the 6-cilinders bi-turbo of the 535d.
