I cant says I am a fan of the looks....
, however I do remember when the Escalade first came out, or even the E60 and most people didnt like the styling, but like an ugly duckling they grow on ya!
anyway, id have to see one in real life before I could be sure, but in the pics it looks kinda 4x4ish!

And my best wish would be a 2008 E60 520d 177hp... Probably far from the S63 !!! I'm sure you are right ... But the speed camera and the 1.50 Euros/liter for unleaded fuel

I notice there are 2 exhaust versions..single and dual. I do like the integrated duals!
The front grill is a bit bland and uninspiring.
Here are some more PICS......

I think it looks fine. Clearly evolutionary and not revolutionary -- as it should be at this point.
On the interior pic that shows the steering wheel, did anyone notice how it looks as if the front seat is sitting a bit crooked? Maybe just a distortion from the camera (maybe they used a view camera or something similar), I hope.
On the pic of the turn signal in operation, it's interesting how they now have an all-red lens when the signals are not illuminated but when they're turned on, amber LEDs appear. I've never been a fan of how they changed the turn signals from amber to red on the E60 LCI but I like the fact that there's no amber color on the lens (like the E60 LCI has now...)
Overall, I think this car will be a success for BMW -- sure, the S-class is nice but I'm pretty sure the BMW will appeal more to the driving enthusiast, as usual!

One more remark: This is the 7 sedan, which is supposed to be a classical model. There will also be a more sporty 7 series available with looks more like the CS concept.
The Dutch site Autoweek had an article on this car, they also stated that there will be no V12 (!?) but instead there will be the twin-turbo V8 (the one we already know from the X6, will be in the new F10 as well).
Personally I think the rear looks like the Citroen C5, especially the lights. I'm not sure yet if I like the big kidneys...
I'm very curious about the technology underneath. I wonder if they have real innovation under that classical skin...

I looked at the pics of the new 7 today and my first impressions is that it's a nice car but very very classical and "more of the same".
No doubt it's a wonderful car, but I would have liked BMW to make the design a bit more special and innovative...
Then again, I'm not the typical buyer they're aiming at (age 31).
What do you think?
