Not feelin' it overall. I was expecting more of the Concept CS in the face. This doesn't look very well proportioned in the front, so this may be just a best-guess rendering.
The side view looks good, and the rear doesn't appear as bulbous as the E65.
Whatever the case, I hope BMW advances the look of the 5-series more so than they seem to have done with the 7er.

Front-bumper looks weird, too much clearance at the bottom. Entire car needs to site a little lower too. Somehow the headlights and the grills don't look right to me.

Wow - if this is it, BMW certainly has missed the mark. Although I'm sure we'll grow accustomed to it and even learn to admire it, it completely lacks the visceral dynamic look of the S-class. Sad. I really had hoped to see a return to the svelte lines of the E38 - a gorgeous car even today - as an indicator of future BMW design direction for the 5er.

That's just plain bad. I can't find anything good to say about it. I like the look of the current S-Class. BMW needs to raise the design bar if this is really a valid rendering.
