Hmm ther real problem is finding someone that can do it and not hack my car up, and still have all the functions like steering wheel, blue tooth, factory nav all still work flawless.

Yes those are the only ones. My Freind in Jersey can do it an keep all the factory radio and functions. As far as drivers can build kicks or even make pods for the doors if you want to go 3 way up front. I am not replacing the factory HU on my 7 cuz it has way more options than my 5 did.

 

what do u think a simple install, with keeping all the factory locatiins just upgrading the speakers and amps and a sub??

 

I would say for nice equipment, labor. I would say about 3k but it could be less or more depending on what equipment that you choose. DLS, Rainbow, or Morel might be the best options. Dyn is going to push the budget up. I would say the Rainbow Profi Vanadium 4" components and a Profi vandium 12 and a DLS A7 amp would be a good start. But like I said give me a budget and I can build from there. What type of music do you listen to and how do you listen to it?

 

hmm Honestlt i dont need anything crazy like that, some simple equiptment would be fine maybe 2 sets of components and a nice 12" sub, I havent really contemplated what i want to spend?? I used to do a few low end system instalations on some of my other cars, the 7 i feel a bit overwhelmed?? + its still under warranty so im not 100% sure i would want to f%^& w/ it. In my mind i was thinking 2 sets of direct fit components 1 4 channel amp and 1 amp to push a nice 12"?? Not really sure what i would do about the factory subs under the seat? What do u think.

 

As for amp the DLS A7 would solve that. It is a 5 channels amp.

As for the midbass under the seats. You can get one of the component sets in a 3 way and with a 6.5 or 7" midbass and put under the seat or build kick panels for the midbass Or run 2 subs and play them just a bit higher to cover the midbass range, not my first choice. You will also need an intigration unit like the Audio Control LC8i

 

what would something like that cost me ??? would any of my stock electronics not work or be affected???

 

On the low end about 2100 for equipment labor would be not be to bad since using factory locations not a lot of custom work except for the enclosre. No none if the stock electronics would be effected.

 

really what do u think labor would run?? has your friend done 7's before???
