but I had planned on doing it! We ended up getting a 745i instead.

We had a 98 BMW 540i sport for the last 4 years and it has been great.....until last Thursday when it started shifting really hard from 2nd-3rd. At 207k the transmission was about to die. We stopped by the dealer and I was ready to buy a 5 series (looking at the 04-05 545i sport)
They had this 03 745i on the lot and we really fell in love. We traded our 540i in on Saturday.

26mpg on this beast! we have been getting 23mpg with mixed driving so far. It was about the same price of the 545i we were looking at.

Congrats on the new car. It's amazing what a "deal" those 7's are used, and in most cases, they are pretty well taken care of (since the original owner had to pony up big bucks to get into one).

Car looks great. Love the law enforcement plate too. I had one of those on my 323 when I lived in KY. Every little bit helps...

first owner was a doctor in town and paid 1258 per month to LEASE the car! perfect car in every way.
