My wife wants a 7 series Li for her and the kids and I was wondering what the reliability is for 2004-07 models. These are the years we are looking at, the MPG is acceptable since it's significantly higher than her current SUV. How is the reliability though? Anything I should be looking out for? Any good mod suggestions?

03-05 Good
07+ Good.
Watch out for the 02 and the 06. Ive heard people have problems with those yrs the most. What sort of SUV is she coming from? The only reason I ask is that for some people, the Li is tooo long. My better half had no problems driving the Suburban, but she cant stand driving the Li.
07+ Good.

She wants either an 05 or 07 - so what you're saying about those years is good, great in fact.

A sick mule with 3 legs is more reliable than the 2002 7 series...
Figured as much since it was a first year for the model. Besides I only want CPO and I don't think you can find any CPO 2002's anyway. She wants a 2005 or 2007 - don't ask me why those specific years but that's what she said.

I actually like the 745i's rear more than that of the 750i. I love that strip of lights along the back. ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
For some reason though, every 745i I see has pitted headlights...nothing a little DIY can't fix though.
