Ok this may be a dumb question but since I dont have a 7 yet what is the diff between and i and Li model? I remember you guys saying dont do 02 or 06 what was wrong with the 06 model? I have come across more 06 CPO's than 07 CPO's they have low miles and good price to start negotiating at.

The Li is a longer vehicle. The biggest difference is rear leg room, longer back doors and windows. The back set of the shorter I model is similar to a E60. The Li feels more limo like. There are alot of people that have reported alot of issues with the 06. I would say just wait, and find a nice 07. If you could get a killer deal on a 06, do it. Just make sure that it is BMW certified with alot of warranty still on it.

I actually found some good deals on CPO 07's so I will try to go that route unless a greater deal on an 06 lands in my lap

The last time I sold a car and had it shipped to Michigan, it was under $1,000 for transportation.

That is good to know. I am hoping to find one in the surrounding states because I want to trade my 5. I dont what the hassle of trying to sell it right now. Dont have the time. But I have not found a 7 yet so it is no big deal. I should have bought a used 7 to begin with vs buying a new 5
