Are 22's going to be much rougher than 20's?

Gotta pay to play.
Does this mean the same thing as "It cost to floss"?

We assume you car is a 7 series, if so I am with Sam on this one. I have done 20s and 22s and there wasnt much difference in ride at all. My 22s are very light and comparable weight to the 20s but handling and stability are better with the 22s.
It is not bone jaring, its not rough and the only time I notice anything significant is with potholes, but here in Irvine we dont have much of them so its very rare. I drive through areas with rougher roadways and the 22s feel fine and not much different than the 20s.
Thats all of the positive. On the negative side, definitely if you are not a careful driver or have the wife or GF driving with 22s, much more likely to curb rash one because the 22s are pushed way to the outside of edge of the wheelwell, which is the look I personally like the most.
Second, most definitely with less tire /sidewall, bad roads, holes, etc can mean bent rim but again, here in Irvine we dont have much of that so only when I go to Los Angeles do I have to be very careful.
Where do you live?

Sorry, didnt give Tbal any credit for his words of wisdom, but he was right on too. 20s on 5 and 6s look great. 20s on 7s arent bad, but once I saw the 22s I tried to switch to 20s for fear of wife bending, but it was too late, the 22s just looked so much better so I put them back on and I'll live with a potential problem when or if it happens.
Sam has about 8,000 photos of 7s with 22s, that should convince anyone.
Alpine White Girl in Nebraska, come on now, 7s on 22s = Stupid, maybe too much white going on there in Nebraska, live a little

I think I'm with tbal on this one...I have senn 22's on many 7 series and it looks hot. Have seen a few with 20's and it looks good but not as good as 22's. If you can afford a repair here and there if something does happen then I say go for it and get 22's!
