so i put in an address and noticed that the NAV has reversed the direction.. Basically if I drive South it says/thinks I'm driving North.

Anyone ever seen this?

no no no... don't mean that! direction of travel is different. I mean if i am driving North the NAV unit thinks I'm actually going South so no matter what the direction of travel i'm always driving AWAY from where i am trying to go even if i'm driving towards where i am trying to go lol

Come again? Let's say you have it on "map facing north". Does it always show your correct position? It would therefore know you are traveling south if in fact you are. If a dest is programmed, does it show the correct white line from where you are to where you want to be?

Note in "map - direction of travel" or "perspective", the map may look upside down when traveling south.

Also a thought. Are you confused over the little arrow in the corner of the display? It does not point to north. Rather it points to your destination from your perspective. IE if a dest is south of you and you are driving south, the arrow points straight up. If you then need to make a left turn once you reach far enough south, the arrow points left.
