Fisker designed the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9 and new V8 Vantage.

You buy the donor car (M6, 650Ci, or SL55) and pay an additional $200K or so for the mods. He's basically a very high priced tuner. Total cost around $300K--crazy!

Fiskar is actually the Coach Builder. Does all new body panels. He gets his tuning from others including, I believe, Kleeman (sp?).

I was using a broad definition for tuner, including interior and exterior mods, like ACS, etc. Clearly the most extensive mods of any (particularly the new body panels as you point out)...and also by far the most expensive.

I don't think they'll sell a lot of them--probably mostly in socal & the Middle East, to those who will pay big bucks for exclusivity.

I think it's OK.
The front end looks similar to a Maserati, but the interior is definitely BMW.

Personally, if I had that kind of money I would spend it on a car and tune it with mods where you can still tell what the base model is.

I would hate to spend >$200,000 USD only for friends and others to say, "What's a Fisker?"
