Got this error today in idrive. :@
One of my pdc ultrasonic sensors is done.

Turns out you can only buy them by set of 8? wtf local dealership quoated about $250 for them. I only need one! lol

Any suggestions? Would this be covered under cpo? Or better, any idea where I can buy em just one???

It might be covered under CPO tho...wouldn't hurt to ask...

It sounds like a loose connection or a fault internal to the sensor. A hammer will certainly help .. .. help you start the journey to buying 8 PDC gizmos !

Took the bumper off this afternoon, and turns out one of the pdc sensor is done . Looks like I will be contacting bmw soon to see if it is covered under cpo.

Good luck getting coverage under CPO. If you don't and have to buy a replacement - remember they have to come prepainted ... you can't paint over them.
