Thumbs up

I think I will stick by my primary plan and go with the Breyton GT Race 20"

But now, which tires should I get... Michellin, Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Goodyear

Front 245/35/20 or 255/35/20
Rear 285/30/20

Who has experience in these exact tire-sizes, recommandations.....

Should I go for 245 or 255 in the front? What are the (dis)advantages??

255/35/20 and 285/30/20 will definitely rub if the fenders are the same as the E60. I would recommend 255/30/20 and 295/25/20. That's the setup I plan on my next set of tires.

Otherwise, 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 is the correct rolling diameter. If that's too thin for you, go 245/35/20 and 275/30/20.

Grab some Michelin PS2's....awesome tire. I don't recommend the Bridgestone Pole Position RE050's that seem to be popular...had them on my xi with 19's...found them to be loud, however they held their tread well.

Get the best mix between performance and what you can afford. Check tirerack.com for their ratings on performance tires....PS2's IMHO are the way to go.

Can't wait to see the finished product.....good luck!

It's all going to depend on the offset of the wheels and the true tread width of the tire. Beware...all tire sizes (when it comes to tread width) are not comparable between tire makers even if they are marked the same such as 245. Example: I switched from Toyo T1R to Yokohama S.Drive with exact same size 245/30R20. The T1R had no rubbing what's so ever but the S.Drives must be a hair wider and now on extreme turning like into a driveway or hitting large dips, I'll here a quick chirp rub!!!)

The brand used by the Z4 owner is Pirelli Pzeronero and he has 285/25/20 in the rear.

Is this a good tire, how do they perform on a sixer?

So far, one advice for PS2...... other recommendations????

How are Dunlops these days? I got an offer with Dunlops.

I'd get Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric if I were you http://eu.goodyear.com/uk_en/tires/reposit..._F1AS/index.jsp

And by the way, do you know what 365 used condoms means? Goodyear
