Anyone have a convertible and would like to shed some light on the noise and quality of the top? Have you had previous soft top convertibles?
I used to have an E46 cab and I found the top to be way too noisy especially when it rained. As far as rain is concerned, I think every soft top is going to have that problem regardless.
Do you regret the cab and wish you had the coupe?

So the build quality of the top would be stronger than the E46 you would say? I would assume so myself but I dont know for certain.

We have a 6 vert and the roof is great ! , very slight increase in road noise vs the 5er but not a problem , only thing I miss is the added sunlight of a sunroof when the top is not down.

I don't own one, but I have driven them, and the new convertible roof is great!! As for me I would never opt away from the convertible as it truly is the best of both worlds!! However, there is SO little trunk space top up or down! There are my 2 cents, spend them as you see fit!
