Exactly what I was looking to get done a few months back Tbal. After looking at the cost of the bulbs and the chance of it not working out, I figured it would be better just to get the proper ones. I hope you do get good results though because I always wondered.
Here are some bulbs I considered.

Those second ones look good. I seen those type of lights in action for lic. plates etc and MAN their brite! My only concern is will it throw errorcode. It will work 100%

I bought 20W bulbs that are identical to stock, thanks to Rog lol
however, I feel that I might be cooking something inside loool, they are hot, but when I checked the stock, they were hot as well, not sure if the increased intensity will cause the housing to melt
Will test it soon and get you the feedback guys !

Interesting. I'm using the cheapo led AEs right now, they aren't super bright but I think they are brigther then stock. Can't really see them in the daytime though. Would like to go brighter if possible.
