great ride.. what is surprising is why you didnt go for a used 645/new 650 considering the relatively small diference between the two (price wise)

of course!!, I would've chose the V8s if the price difference gap was small,
but to tell u the truth my 630ci is not a new car!!
it has done 8000kms, and is imported from England, and has been used only for photography in the BMW
head office in Germany.
The Price difference was huge. The used 645ci going for $160000NZD (25000km), my 630ci only cost $120000, since it was imported. And it had done FAR less kilometers than the 645ci's. Better yet, it sips less fuel than the V8s, and it offers better dynamics thanks to being 150kg lighter!
Hope this xplained my decision.

my friend you dont have to explain its your car and as long as you love it, its all that matters.

I was asking since in my country the difference between the two (similar specced) is about 12000euro... and im talking about brand new cars

Nice car...

Thanks for the info too. I'd no idea on the difference between the 630 and 650.

Regarding paint, I use Zaino. My car now has 4 coats of the stuff. The best polish I've used by far. I've heard that meguiars is pretty good too.

Wow there is 630i? We only got 645i/650i and M6 in the U.S. And we don't have 535d, 540i. It seems like we have the least variations of any BMW model.
