There is one thing you should be carefull about. I don't know whether it is the same way with the E63, but on the E60 the turn signal bulbs are not the same type on the European headlight as the US one. The actual glass section is the same shape and size, but the base is different. The European one has a bayonet base, but the US one has a wedge base. Also, the European bulb had a silver/mirror coating on it while the US one is just plain amber.

I don't know if it is the same with the E63, but if it is then looking up the bulb types in the US owner's manual would not give you the right type of bulb for your Euro headlights. If you already have your Euro headlights then the best way would be to pull out the actual bulbs and see what type they are.

I'm not actually changing the turn signals, just the headlamps. They are two seperate housings. I would just need the super white bulbs for my turn signals in their now.

Sorry, since it's all one piece on the E60 (headlight, turn signal, eyebrows, side reflector), I just assumed that it's one piece on the E63 as well. I just looked on the ETK but it just indicates the bulb color, voltage, and wattage, but it does not actually indicate the bulb type. I guess you can still pull the bulbs out of your current ones and see what type they are.

Yea that's my problem. Ugh this is gonna be difficult. I have no desire to pull my bumper off twice to figure out what bulbs they are, and then to replace them. This is absurd of BMW to do. Thanks anyway.

I'm not sure. I didn't replace mine but I know the others are regular bulbs so shouldn't be hard to get them. The park light is very bright, not sure why it won't bother you. Check your manual for bulb types.

I say it wont bother me because I am just going for the super white blnkers all the way around. If to do that, I have to have an amber park bulb, Im not fantastic, but I guess Im ok with that. You wouldnt believe how hard its been to find information out about these stupid lights.

It's not necessary to remove the bumper. You can access the bulbs via the engine compartment and front wheel well (you'll need to deflect the the steering fully to access either compartment in the well) for the respective bulb.
