Thanks, the car is wondermous, just got back from Stone Harbor NJ and the best thing about the trip was the ride.? I didn't want to get out of the driver's seat I had so much fun on the way down...? I saw a Z8 down there, we talked for a short while at the Wawa, what a car that was...

I missed the 530 when it was time to take 3 other people to dinner.? I'm 6'4" and thank goodness it was only 12 blocks to the restaurant!? My knees were just about touching the dash, my head was almost underneath the sun visor!

I really let it go through 4th and 5th on the way back up, pulls very well until I got out of it at 140 or so again.? Absolutely no noise from the top, things were sealed quite nicely, motoring along with the double trumpeting V8 sounding behind me.? I turned off the climate and the radio so I could listen to the car.? Great stuff.... It just got a little too fast for comfort at around 140 and there was a bit of traffic even at 6 am so better to shut it down.? It seems like it might top out very near the same in 5th as 6th, 5th seems to have the legs to go 180+ if my memory serves me correctly from looking at the tach/speedo, I think 60 mph in 5th is a tad above 2000 rpm.

Well, as everyone who has enjoys driving their 5 or 6 or whatever model it is knows, I'd like to continue typing, but I want to go for a ride!

Thanks guys.

Funny thing is, there's many times where I wish I had my 5.

Like when I have a suit on and there's nowhere to hang the jacket except put it in the clothesbag and lay it either in the backseat if the top is up or the trunk if the top is down.

Like when I want to recline the seat back into that perfect napping position like the 5 could. Almost like a LA-Z-BOY chair in front of a big screen TV. The 6 can't do anywhere near the level of seat acrobatics that the 5 could.

When there's more than one other person who wants to ride with me. Strange thing is that everyone wants to ride in this car now...

Now, other than that, it's a great car. These are minor complaints above, I realize, and there are a few of the I-drive type hiccups with the car, and the warning chime wants to turn you insane, but all in all, a wonderful GT car. Just wish it was a 6 speed manual

Haven't driven the Z4 yet since the purchase, I know she's mad when I walk out the garage past her and take the 645 instead.

Actually, I'll trade your address for mine. I'll even cover the cost of shipping your 5 to the lower 48!

Yeah, the the sun, sand, weather and chicks come with it.

Absolute reality rather than virtual reality, thankyouverymuch!!!

I think if I had Hawaiian weather every day, I wouldn't do a lick of work, just ride around with the top down all day
