Had an 05 530i, steptronic, Logic 7, leather interior, winter package, loved the car, it was much fun and very practical at the same time, absolutely the best performing sedan I've ever been in. I can only imagine a 545 or (gasp) an M5. Matter of fact, an M5 might be my next car. I don't even mind the typical minor annoyances, it was such a great car.

Because I can't leave well enough alone, We traded Nicolette (GF's name for the 530) in on an 05 Mineral Silver/Grey Top 645 Cic, 19" wheel, sport package, winter package, steptronic. Got it at Devon Hill in Pa. where we got the 5 from.

All I can say is, wow, what a fantastic GT car this is. Even with the steptronic, it's a great machine. If the GF could ever learn to drive stick to the point where I'd trust her with a nice car like the 6, I would have undoubtedly gotten a 6sp if I could have found one. Even so, this car certainly does not feel like the 4000++ lb car that it is, very balanced feel in all situations so far, especially in turns where it just keeps begging for more, especially on long sweepers.

Had it to 145 on a straightaway, plenty of right pedal to go, felt like it was on train tracks.

If someone can host pictures for me, I'd email them, I have some nice shots of this girl. Can I post them myself here with a new account?

Funny thing is that the 04 Z4 will not see many more miles. Matter of fact, I let my brother take the Z4 to the shore this past weekend, and I don't think it will be driven again. Ever! If finances allow, the Z4 would be a good down payment on an M5!

Any good 6 series sites on the net? This site is so informative for the 5's, I knew more than the dealer every time the car was back for service (which admittedly wasn't all that often)

Took some pics onto a mini CD, but for some reason my computer won't read the gd disc, I will take it to the GF's and try it from there, her laptop had better work, people may think I'm a poser troll or something

She has 2900 miles on her already, has been hand washed twice, sprayed off several other times, but not since last Friday. The wheels are a little dirty and the paint has a bit of pollen dust and stuff on it, but you get the general idea.

Will add a pic of the Z4 and Vette inside the garage as well. The Vette hasn't been driven since last fall, so excuse the mess around it. I miss the 530i and I think the Z4 will get traded in on an E60 M5 in a year or so.

I love this 645 though. Hero Driving is a flick of the steering wheel and a romp on the throttle away, almost too easy. Even with the DTC and DSC off, it's easily steerable with the throttle on highway entrance ramps.

I really wanted the 645 Ci they had on the lot, grey, 6 speed, chateau red interior, but the GF was with me, and once she saw the Vert, there was no way I would have survived her wrath if I got the Coupe.
