This may seem like an odd suggestion, but ... get a SprintBooster.
When I got one for my 550i, my city mileage went up nearly 1 mpg. Why? I guess the SB brings out more of the dual personality of the V8 (smooth Jekyll versus manic Hyde), so I found myself feathering the throttle more around town (to keep Mr. Hyde at bay). Hence, my mileage went up. Besides, the SB is a blast to have on that engine. The engine is more responsive and the tranny shifts better. :thumbsup: |
drop some weight. my stock exhaust and stock wheels totaled up to 48 lbs of excess weight. the rpi exhaust and the miro's were much lighter than my stock setup.
