Hi anyone knows if BMW will plonk the upcoming biturbo based on the R6 3.0 into the 6-er?
also any idea when ZSG will be implemented? |

If coming in the M3 as you postulate it would appear it is the "perfomance" they are after. |

With dual clutch they can and i bet they will make it almost as an automatic with very smooth shifts on the 6series and much more aggressive shifts on the m3 |
I wish I had a link to this, but the way I understood this is that BMW will be offering the ZSG transmission in their regular lineup of cars while they are going to continue to develop and improve SMG for the M division only. Thus, SMG is going away. You'll still find them but only offered in M cars.
