I just got a Dinan badge for my M6 today. Question though...does anyone know if they make different size badges for the different series. For example, is a 3 series dinan badge smaller than like a 5 or a 6 series. I may be crazy, but the badge I have appears to be smaller at first glance than the one on my 2002 M5. Although I havent yet gone to where my M5 is to compare the two. Thanks.

It is real the one I got today. It has dinan part numbers, and dinan packaging.

The badges Dinan uses for the different series DOES differ in size and appearance. The 5-series badges are slightly larger and thicker vs. the 3-series badges (pics below). I have personally walked the parking lot at Dinan in Morgan Hill and have seen the badge differences for myself. If you own a non-M car and it's not a 5 or a 3, you do get to choose which style of Dinan badge you want for your car. I saw an owner of an 850Ci get to choose if he wanted "DINAN" from a 5 or the "DINAN" from a 3 ... with an "8" to place to the right of it. I also noticed that the badge used on Dinan's own 645Ci uses the same styling as the one found on his 330i.

That actually pleases me that you say that. I have a 2007 M6, and the Dinan letters I got came from the Dinan 3 badge, minus the 3. Since dinan used that size on their 645, I am confident that this is the one to go on my car, as I have been instructed this is so. Thanks for your time.
