Fellow 6ers,
I need some advice,my battery is completely dead. I am about to purchase a new one,is there anything i should be concern about and could fix myself beside de-mating and mating the battery and resetting the service light...thank you fellows in advance..

There have been a lot of debate on this subject but it seems the majority agress that you'll need to have the new battery registered by the dealer or it won't last too long.

Sam,it's due for a new one, according to the manual the oem battery is only good for 4 yrs and 3 months. you are right tender might have extended a few more days..but i figured since i was driving it everyday it would stay charges..
