My Ride: 2005 545i Titanium Silver/Black/Poplar: Steptronic, Sport, Cold Weather, Premium Sound, Comfort Seats, Sat Radio, NAV & Shades
I have a 2 year lease on my 545i and I'm considering a 6 series for when it is up.
Does anyone know if the Comfort Seats are an option on the 6 series outside of the USA?
Thought maybe if they were, eventually they would be available in the USA.
I want to get a 6 next time but if comfort seats aren't an option I won't get it. I am too use to them and I don't like the sport seats.
Thanks

My Ride: (USA) 645Ci, Silver Gray, Chateau, Cold Weather PKG, Premium Sound PKG, Sport PKG, Step, NAV [Std Equip in 645], HUD, Satellite (SIRIUS) Radio, Aux Input, Bluetooth enabled using iPhone 3GS w/ adapter cradle - Build date - 01/05, Baby delivered 2/24/05
Not as far as I can tell on both the UK and German sites. The UK site is even showing the 650 now with its options and new colors, etc. Most would tell u it is not in keeping with the image of the 6er. I guess u could go to the M6 with the seat option of dynamic adjustable bolsters depending on G-force

WHY DO YOU NOT FAVOR THE SPORTS SEATS?? I RECENTLY ORDERED THE SPORTS PACKAGE WITH MY 550, BUT SHOULD I PAY THE ADDITIONAL $ FOR THE UPGRADED COMFORT SEATS???

I have a friend with a 530i with Sport Seats. I just find them a little hard. For the amount of driving I do I prefer the comfort seats. Softer, more adjustable. I don't think I could get a BMW without them. I would not get a 645Ci if they aren't offered.

I whole heartly agree. First time comfort seat owner, and after a month, I cannot imagine not having them. So adjustable and comfortable. I already have programmed memory postion 1 for city driving and memory postion 2 for highway driving. I'm glad I spent the $$ for them without question!

Iceman, are the Comfort Seats that much heavier than the Sport Seats? Do you know the weight of each?
I guess I'll never be buying a 6 series.

Comfort seats are about 40 Kg each, I was told...
Then think about the electrical motors in mine... Electric seats with memory, heated, ventilated and massage function...
