Lemont, IL ?September 7, 2007? With the world?s top golfers on hand at the inaugural BMW Championship this week, BMW is celebrating the event and the sport by creating a BMW Individual 6 Series Golf Sport, a vehicle offering specially created colors and features designed to align luxury driving with the sport of golf, it was announced today by Tom Purves, Chairman and CEO, BMW (US) Holding Corp. The BMW Individual 6 Series Golf Sport is on display this week at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, site of the BMW Championship ? the third leg in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.
The BMW Individual 6 Series Golf Sport comes with a custom Brilliant White metallic exterior finish accented by 19? BMW Individual light alloy wheels. The interior features BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery in Canyon Brown with Walnut Amarone interior trim elements and Alcantara headliner, enabling customers to enjoy a style suited to the spirit of golf and the BMW Championship. The BMW Individual 6 Series Golf Sport will be available nationwide beginning in November.

BMW Individual, introduced to customers in the U.S. last year, launched internationally in 1991 with the goal of leading the trend towards more individuality by concentrating on customers who were looking for made-to-measure solutions and making tougher demands on their BMW in terms of distinction, design and function. BMW Individual designs paint finishes, leather types and interior trim strips with the desire to meet the customer?s requirements.
BMW Championship
For more than 25 years, BMW has hosted and partnered with leading amateur and professional golf tournaments around the globe. BMW sponsors professional tournaments in China, Thailand, Germany and Great Britain. The BMW Championship played at Wentworth near London is the European PGA Championship.
In 2006 the Western Golf Association and the PGA TOUR announced a six-year partnership agreement with the company to conduct the BMW Championship as part of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup from 2007 through 2012.

awesome tournament rudy. I knew in my whats his name again would win. That Fedex cup is something else. $10 million as an added bonus. Tiger tore up Cog hill.
